How We Started
From One Van to Kent's Most Trusted Courier
Swift Drops Logistics was founded in 2020 by Scott Edwards, a former logistics manager who saw a gap in the market for a truly reliable same-day courier service in London. Starting with a single van and a handful of clients, Scott built the business on one simple promise: if we say it'll be there, it will be.
The real turning point came early on, when we secured a contract to supply drivers and vans five days a week to a major Freight and parcel distribution partner. That contract gave us the foundation to grow — reinvesting in fleet, hiring trained drivers, and building the operational infrastructure that underpins everything we do today.
In just a few years, we've grown to operate a fleet of mixed vehicles — from motorcycles for urgent document runs to specialist vans for oversized freight.
What hasn't changed is our culture. Every driver, every dispatcher, every account manager is held to the same standard that Scott set on day one: treat every delivery as if it's the most important one we've ever made.
